Eu Yan Sang Centre - Hong Kong SAR Manufacturing Plant To modernize the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) industry, Eu Yan Sang revolutionized the field by establishing a manufacturing plant in Hong Kong SAR in the early 1990s. In 2002, we proudly received the "Good Manufacturing Practice" certification from the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) of Australia and the ISO9001:2008 certification from the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency. This achievement made us the first fully GMP-certified TCM company in Hong Kong SAR.
In 2006, we further attained the "Proprietary Chinese Medicine Good Manufacturing Practice" certification from the Chinese Medicines Traders Committee of the Hong Kong SAR. These milestones reflect our dedication to quality and innovation in TCM manufacturing.
Our automated GMP-compliant processes include herbal processing and preparation, dust-free TCM production, and packaging procedures. We have invested in production and testing equipment, comprehensive documentation systems, and independent laboratory safety tests. This documentation system meticulously records the entire TCM production process, allowing for precise control and adjustment. Our clinical trials provide scientific evidence of product quality, safety, and efficacy. GMP Plant in Malaysia Weng Li Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eu Yan Sang International Ltd, was established in Malaysia in 1980. In September 1997, it obtained GMP certification from the Malaysia Ministry of Health, and in March 2001, it received the ISO 9001 quality management certification. The factory specializes in manufacturing traditional pills, capsules, and powders, as well as packaging soups and teas. Weng Li's state-of-the-art facilities ensure the production of high-quality herbal formulas by maintaining precise control over pressure, time, and temperature hence delivers superior quality natural herbs and achieves consistent purity and efficacy of products.
