Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed with Delivery Service and Scheduling I am very disappointed with the delivery experience. I ordered the Celebrating Life Hamper ($228) from Eu Yan Sang’s website as a gift for my sister-in-law. During checkout, I specifically selected 19 July 2026, 6:00pm–10:00pm as the delivery slot because I knew someone would be home during that time to receive the hamper. However, on 18 July, one day earlier than the scheduled delivery date, the delivery driver called my sister-in-law and said he was already downstairs. She informed him that the selected delivery date was the following day and asked if he could come back as scheduled. Instead, the driver repeatedly asked if he could leave the hamper outside the unit. My sister-in-law rejected the request as the hamper was worth $228 and contained baby products and confinement essentials. It was not appropriate to leave such an expensive gift unattended. The driver then asked her whether she would hold him responsible if the item went missing. Feeling pressured, she eventually agreed to let him leave it outside the unit. Fortunately, nothing was stolen, but that does not make the situation acceptable. What concerns me is: * The delivery was attempted one day earlier than the confirmed delivery date. * The driver appeared to pressure the recipient into accepting an unattended delivery instead of following the scheduled delivery. * For a premium gift hamper, customers should not be put in a position where they have to choose between accepting an early delivery or risking an unattended parcel. When I checked my order after this happened, it still showed: * Delivery Date: 19 July 2026 * Delivery Time: 6:00pm–10:00pm * Shipping Status: Not Shipped This experience did not match the premium service I expected from Eu Yan Sang. I hope the company reviews its delivery procedures and ensures drivers follow the confirmed delivery schedule instead of asking customers to accept deliveries outside the agreed time.
